How To Reclaim Your Power and Beat Procrastination for Good

According to a poll I did a couple of weeks ago, the biggest challenges and hurdles that most of you have experienced is related to Procrastination which is not at all surprising.

What I did find shocking though is that most of you are aware that you need to do certain tasks to reach your goals but you:

  • cannot get yourself to move through it
  • cannot get yourself to commit
  • cannot get yourself to stay accountable
  • cannot get yourself to overcome the obstacles whether they are mental or physical


So you end up spending so much time procrastinating - Putting everyone and everything else first and then having no energy or time left for yourself. ⠀

Isn’t this just the most frustrating cycle? 😫

We battle ourselves everyday around what we could and couldn’t do, should and shouldn’t do, what we want and don’t want to do. It’s a constant tug of war. It depletes our energy and our spirit and sets us up to quit on ourselves before we really get started.

Well, today is the last time that's going to happen for you because you can make a small yet SUPER powerful shift in our language in order to uplevel our mindset and stop procrastinating.

Next time you notice the urge to push something off that’s important to you try this instead. When you say to yourself:

🙅‍♀️ It’s too hard.⠀⠀⠀
🙅‍♀️ It’s too scary.
🙅‍♀️ It’s too daunting.

  1. Remove the word TOO
  2. Add AND I CAN after the descriptor.

For example, change: “It’s too hard" to “It’s hard AND I CAN do it.”

Reclaim your power! Stop giving your power away by using these words that stall you out, halt your journey and progress, and create SELF-DOUBT.

Always remember that YOU ARE NOT ALONE in this journey. Did you know? Procrastination is a MAJOR pain point for my clients as well. They know they want more for themselves but don’t know how to:
